Palmy Living is an online decor and furniture boutique. We source and manufacture pieces, designed for intentional lifestyles. At the core of it all, we believe that homemaking is a journey, not an outcome. It is scouring designers and vintage stores, adding a bespoke item here and there, picking up momentos from your travels and adjusting your home to meet the needs of your different life seasons. We encourage you to be mindful and intentional about curating your space, and to take the time to enjoy the process of homemaking and finding the timeless pieces that will evolve with you.
Our curated collection of decor and furniture items are carefully designed and manufactured to help you to create a space to escape to. Each product is designed to make a statement and to add a unique element to your home experience. Palmy products are durable and made from quality materials to ensure that our pieces become legacy items, and can be passed down to generations to come.
Everything you find here is designed by a team of local creators, manufactured locally, locally sourced and as far as possible constructed with local materials. We’re proud of where we come from, and our products are too. At the head of this team is husband and wife duo, Johann (engineer, product designer, practical thinker) and Cara-Ann (creative, strategist, dreamer).
Talk about legacy – it’s kind of how Palmy Living started. The Palmy seed was planted in early 2018, when we found out we were expecting our first child. We were inspired to intentionally and lovingly make space for her in our lives and in our home. At the same time, we were frustrated that many of our initial investment furniture pieces didn’t age the way we had hoped, so we decided to create a few core furniture pieces for our own home. They were beautiful and functional. We knew we were onto something, and our friends agreed – Palmy was born. Slowly move forward to 2020, and here we are, sharing more of our pieces and ideas in the hope to inspire you to intentionally create your own space and to make space for whatever season you’re in, as well as the seasons to come.
